Johnson & Johnson (J&J) recently lost trials, alleging the use of baby powder and Shower to Shower products caused ovarian cancer in women. The juries have returned multi-million dollar verdicts against the company. More lawsuits are currently being filed.
The criteria for an eligible talcum powder claim includes:
Must have used Johnson & Johnson baby powder or Shower to Shower product for several years.
Must have developed ovarian or tubal cancer during or after usage of the product.
Usage must have been in the genital area.
A pathology report will show traces of talcum powder.
Must not have a genetic disorder pre-disposing her to ovarian cancer.
